My biggest bug bear is when someone has clearly received an invite, gift or discount and doesn’t state it. I see it more often on social accounts who are journalists vs. content creators.
I agree! At least with content creators you know where you’re at. I think many journalists genuinely forget to declare a freebie or a gift but that just underscores how they take these things for granted and underestimate the influence of free things. I have to confess, I do sometimes forget myself.
